This is the start of a very busy period of Club events leading right up to Christmas. Please could I encourage each of you to play as full a part as possible in this most important period of fundraising activities. This month we have the Autumn Choir Concert on Sat 4 Oct and at the end of the month we start assisting the Royal British Legion in their Poppy Appeal at Sainsbury's Supermarket. Then it is straight into Children Singing for Children followed by Christmas Supermarket Collections. The funds raised will benefit our own community and this will not be possible without strong support from us all. So, now is the time to support your Club. Please help as much as you can: SERVICE ABOVE SELF.
Most of you will have noticed that the ClubRunner mobile app stopped working for a few days recently. CR apologise for the inconvenience, which was worldwide and affected both Apple and Android phones. An updated version of the CR App became available over the weekend of 28 Sep which fixes the fault, but you may need to re-login the first time you use the app after installing the update. Please ask fellow members for help if you have problems updating the software.
Whilst an annoying and inconvenient incident, it was good to see that all of our event notifications, registrations, meal booking and volunteer sign-ups could still be achieved through our Club website.
