In presenting her with a Rotary Badge, he welcomed her not only into the membership of the Rotary Club of Banbury but also into the greater fellowship of Rotary throughout the world. She would serve on the International and Foundation committee and would be mentored by her close friend Rotarian Joan Bond. As a traditional part of the ceremony, the Objects of Rotary were read out by the most recent new member, Koppany Nagy.
